I'll probably pick this game up sooner or later I have a few questions:

1) Does the spec ops missions have at least as much missions as MW2?

2) Is there a offline co-op bot mode similar to black ops?

3) Is the campaign split screen? Or co-op campaign online?

I havent had any time to try out spec ops, I found this mode to be much more fun with a friend on MW2 and I dont have any with this game yet. I am hoping to play some survival with friends online thou. When you select spec ops and private match you get the option for survival or missions. Missions has 16 total at launch. The bottom 12 are locked until you beat the first 4 I presume.

I don't believe there is a "bot" mode but I could be wrong. I'm not even sure where that would be becuase I only tried it once through an invite in Black Ops and didn't really care for it.

When you select campaign from the main menu I don't see any 2 player option, split screen or online. It just has: resume game, new game, mission select, options, credits, and main menu. I'm guessing thats a no.

I was lucky enough to pickup a copy yesterday afternoon (gotta love craiglist) and I can assure everybody its pretty great. The single player campaign is vintage MW, all action like an schwarzanegger 80's movie. Not as slow as a Treyarch campaign, but Ive never been a fan of their single player COD games, just my opinion. The addition of the red dot magnifier scope for the Army Delta weapons was a favoriate for me...

The multiplayer is great but not revolutionary, I wasn't expecting it to be anyway. Well probably have to wait for next gen hardware to get a major COD overhaul. It seems like whats left of IW along with Sledgehammer didn't miss a beat, they deliver a solid MP experience. The game feels much more balanced than MW2. Even average or poor players will get to use killstreaks thanks to the support class not reseting due to death. I can say happily that MW3 has nerfed the melee kill THANK GOD. No more aholes running around with commando and marathon. I havent found a map that I dislike yet, they all seem average size, no large maps (think "fuel") and no tiny ("shipment/rust") maps either. All the callsigns, pictures, and upgrades are back to MW2 style, nothing from the currency and create your own pictures makes it over from Black Ops. One thing I did notice is how much easier it is to get "pro" status for your perks. By level 20 I already had slight of hand pro, quick draw pro, and stalker pro; the only 3 I was using and without even realizing it. Quite a change from some of the Black Ops requirements to get a "pro perk". Due to playing the single player mostly today I haven't got much farther than that with MP. A few people have already prestige but I assume IW will reset all progress tonight or tomorrow.

Ill just say COD fans will definitely not be dissappointed. The haters will saw MW 2.5 and thats not totally untrue, but I'm happy with that for now. The back of the manual says monthly DLC for the first 9 months so we will see... In closing Ill admit that BF3 will be going back into its case and collecting dust for awhile, MW3 is what Ill be playing now. Ill try to answer a few questions if people have any.

I was lucky enough to get a copy yesterday off craiglist and I can promise you its a great game. The single player so far is vintage MW. Lots of crazy notstop action, like a Schwarzenegger 80s movie. Multiplayer seems more balanced than ever. Kinda like the took the best from MW2 and COD4 and added balance. Ive only made it to about 25 but there are already many people who have prestige already. Bottomline, if you are a COD fan you wont be dissappointed.
