I suggest Resistance. Try Gamestop or Game Crazy for used games. I usually never buy new. Ninja Gaiden has great graphics as well, but I get frustrated by the camera. I also suggest downloading demos from Playstation Network. At least this is a way to try before you buy.

If you have an HDTV make sure to buy either a HDMI cable or Component cables. The cables that come with the system are cheap and designed for SDTV setups. I suggest buying Sony brand cables. My first game was RFoM and I can tell you, you'll be impressed by the gameplay, sound, and replayability. The wireless was somewhat tricky for me to setup, however after about 30 minutes I was surfing. Make sure you buy a decent router if you dont have one already. I have a D-Link and it seems to work great with few drops from the network. Other things to consider are the Blu-Ray disc playability and the ability to access media files from your PC. These are very cool features. Other games I suggest buying are Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Madden 08'. Heavenly Sword has not been released yet but the demo is very impressive. The only downside right now is the lack of games for the PS3. Since its fairly new, this is to be expected. By Christmas time, a number of new games will be released. After owning two Xbox360's both of which failed after the first two weeks (ring of death & scorched power supply), I decided on the PS3. The Xbox 360 should be pulled from the market. I was especially concerned with fires or damage to my homes electrical system.
