I purchased a used copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell from GameStop today. I was wondering when you purchase a used game, does the game publisher see any royalties?

I saw this in my local paper, and now found it online: Microsoft to lower Xbox Price
Any ideas when this price cut may be announced?

I'm going to purchase an Xbox 360, and I would like to know which would be a better extended warranty?
GameStop offers a 1 year warranty where they will replace your console with a new one if it should break. Then there is the 2 year extended warranty option through Microsoft.

I realize Microsoft has extended their warranty for the "Red Ring of Death" problem, but I would like additional coverage should anything else break on the console.

Thanks!

Yes, I don't think drums have the same appeal as a guitar does. People like to pick up the guitar and rock out. I've read somewhere online that Red Octane may consider a Drum Hero game, but I don't see it being as successful as the Guitar Hero series.

I agree. It didn't look that great to me. I think that Harmonix should have stayed on with Red Octane.
I'm looking forward to Guitar Hero III.

They spent like 10 seconds describing it at the conference. Does it come bundled with halo 3 and is it just a normal premium with a paint job?weinervil_basic

It's just a premium, with HDMI, but it does not include Halo 3: Halo 3 Console

If you go to GameStop you are going to get about $170 for the Xbox 360 with the hard drive.
It shows the trade-in value on Halo 2 at $12.00 on their website. The rest I'm not sure.

I went to my local Target today to check out some games, and noticed that the PlayStation 3 60GB is sold out! They've always had plenty in stock, and now since the price cut they are gone.  I think this is a good sign of things to come for the PlayStation 3.

I guess the software based emulation works great, because I haven't really seen anyone complain about backwards compatibility problems.

I've read on some forum posts that the EE chip will no longer be in new PlayStations manufactured, and that it will be software based? If this is true, would the current versions in the store with the EE chip offer better performance for backwards compatibility?
