I purchased mine in-store from Best Buy with no problems at all. Did you contact them right away? Do you have a receipt? If so, you could show them a receipt to your local Best Buy store and the customer service desk should help you.
Resistance is really good single player and online. Call of Duty 4 isn't bad either. Marvel Ultimate Alliance gets repetative, and I don't even know why they have an multiplayer feature...
Oblivion is a great game to have if you're looking for something that will last you a few days if not months. :D
