I don't care for turn based games either, too slow paced for me. I did like FF7 and all but the computer controlled battles were so annoying. I like to see the enemy and possibly avoid them if I can.
XP has very low system requirements, Vista is a resource hog, and that is just stupid for an OS to need that much RAM and video card etc just to run a OS. That being said, we will not have a choice if they make more games that need Vista.
