It seems about time to start up the blog machine.

As will become apparent from my contributions and other posts, TV has been a large and entertaining part of my life.  While many of my favorite programs are products of the 1980s and early 1990s, I continue to enjoy, nay -- obsess over -- today's broadcasting.

I tend to be critical of stupidity on TV and equally adorant of top-quality creations.  I am not a grand fan of what has become known as "reality television" as I believe reality plays a bit part in those programs.  (I have, however, taken a shine to "The Amazing Race" and the earlier "Apprentice" seasons.)

I'll be contributing this weekend.  Will you?
