some of you guys act like joining the military is some kind of higher calling like becoming a priest. i gurantee you 90% of the people join because it simply has good benifits and you can get your college education paid for. to me it wouldnt even be a career although it could be an option if really enjoyed it. it would just be like a job i had while i get an education.
i think the air force would be best for me now. it sounds more like the "brain" type of people and personalities join it. id probably fit in there alot more and i can tell you i would never join the military if it meant me being directly involved in combat. i think alot of the air force jobs would provide me with that opportunity.
the corprate world requires you to go to college for at least 4 years than kiss peoples asses and hope you get lucky enough to get hired. why put up with all that when i can just join the millitary? not all the jobs in the millitary require you to get shot at. theres plenty of positions that allow you to not be directly involved
