Thats not exzactly correct, the people who preorederd wont recieve it in the order they preorderd at in the store. You can be the fifth person at the store to preorder, and get your system first, you see. Its not in the exzact order, its basicaly if you were one of the eight or six-teen to preorder you could just go and pick it up whenever you want within the 24 hours.[QUOTE="bigpimp14152004"][QUOTE="Ashcroft00"]Exactly. The store manager where I preordered said that they would hold the first batch of PS3s for 24 hours. She said that we would not have to wait in line at midnight and that we could pick the system up anytime within 24 hours of its release. We do not have to get there before the other "preorder people" because the people will receive a system in the same order that they "preordered" at the store. I hope that this clears things up for people. Newt
No thats EXACTLY correct. systems are held for people in THE ORDER they are reserved. THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE.... a Gamestop store takes 100 reservations on an item. but on launch due to a shipping error only 80 arrive. the First 80 people who reserved (not the first 80 that show up) will have a system held for them. the last 20 need to wait until more arrive. The Gamestop registers record EVERY reservation taken in each store with a name and time stamp. so there is no opportunity for any of the last 20 people to jump the reservation of the other 80. Get it?
Gamestop was only allowed to reserve what they are recieving. 16 reservation sku's meaning 16 people reserving them. At my store it won't even allow anymore than 16.
