Been a loooooong time!

Holy crap, it's been years! Let's see, what's changed at least in my life since I last came here...

I'm 22 now, whoopee. I'm in college now pursuing my Bachelor's in Investigative Forensics (CSI stuff); I think I have less than 10 classes to go there, just a couple of required classes and some electives is all. I've also become a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (brohoof to any bronies/pegasisters reading this! /) ^_^) In terms of gaming, I haven't been too crazy about it up until my birthday last year when I got my 3DS along with Pokémon White and SoulSilver (who says I'm too old for that stuff? lol) and Star Fox 64 3D.

I think getting that has kind of rekindled what I like about playing video games: at least for me, it's fun and a good way to pass the time (or procrastinate ;P). I wouldn't say I'm a "hardcore" sort of player, but more the casual type. Even in Pokémon, I'm not too into competitive battling. I've figured out how to EV-train and how to check IV's and stuff, but I currently only limit that to my White version since my internet isn't compatible with SoulSilver and for Black 2, I'd rather just play through the storyline and the stuff that comes after without going crazy over where my Pokémon's EV's are going. Still then, even though I've got a bunch of EV-trained Poké's in my White version, I have yet to go online and find someone to battle nor am I currently seeking any sparring partners; I only EV-train as a hobby of sorts.

Kind of speaking of Black 2, is it just me or are there a ton more triple and rotation battles then there were in White (and I assume Black since BW are similart)? o_O Sometimes it seems like almost every route has at least one trainer that insists on having one, at least in the post-story routes. Oh, and Colress is an a-hole who needs a party that doesn't consist of a bunch of steel-types. Either that, or a yes/no option on whether you want to battle him before basically going "Surprise, let's battle now while you're completely unprepared for my army of steel!" >_>

darn exams

man, exams stink. at least I'm done with 'em now and the semester's over. that means that I'm already halfway done with darn modern world history, or should I say, modern European history because it's always Europe this and Europe that and this European guy did this and that European guy went over there, oh, and a 500-year-old Chinese empire did this during its long reign, but that's not as important because it's not about Europe. AAAGH!! I just want to stab European history in the head! I'm not meaning to offend any European people out there, I'm just going after how much Europe's brought up in class. Oy!

Ah, well. Anyhow, I finally get myself another Monday off cuz the teachers need to do their grading and such. Four day weekend for me since tomorrow's make-up exam day and I obviously wasn't sick on any other day this week.

Speakin' of sick, everybody wish Rudy a "Get well soon!" cuz he got a cold. If ya don't, ye shall face the wrath of my flying squirrel-monkey-zombies (unless you've already wished Rudy a get well soon, then you're fine)

Merry (belated) Christmas!

Yay! Christmas! I'm so happy that it has finally come! It's been long enough.

Anyhow, looking back on my presents, I had a pretty technical x-mas this year. I got an MP3 player from my parents(yay! I'm cramming my music onto it as I type this entry), a little lava lamp thing  that comes on when you plug it into a computer and a mini digital camera from my aunt in Minnesota, and....Slipknot's Voliminal DVD, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja and Eragon for PS2, both from the rents,....and a whole bunch of other crud. WOO!!!!!

So yeah, that was my x-mas. What about you all!?! Feel free to rant in the comments thing! YAY, CHRISTMAS!!!

it's been a long time...

...that I've managed to get back on here. Man, have I missed this place! Glad to be back here, too :D. Where I went? I have no idea. But, I went somewhere, though. My mind tends to wander sometomes and doesn't tell me where it's been.

So, in other news and such, I'm currently browsing through a 2006 desk calender that has a ton of crazy sites on it. Here's a few for your pleasure:

Mega-Ultra Party of Randomness (journal section thing)

Yep. Back to my randomness, which, of course, never ends. The little Halloween party I was GONNA have here in my "Blog of Doom" (what you're reading now, basically) has now turned into the Mega-Ultra Party of Randomness! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Party away, random people! I'll even hold one in my union. Don't worry, the two parties are the same. Or is it three since I made a topic concerning the party both on the union mainpage thing and the union board? Oh, whatever! LET'S PARTY!!!

Yeah, that's it. Couldn't think of anything else to say.

Happy Halloween!

Yep. It's Halloween: the day where kids go door-to-door around their neighborhoods dressed as...whatever it is that they want to dress as with big bags in order to get a bunch of free candy. People like me, however, have other plans.

Overview of my Halloween eve:

1. Put on costume and help mother put up Halloween decorations.

2. Get picked up by my friend's mom and be taken with friends A and B to friend C's house.

3. Party over at friend C's house, go trick-or-treating around her neighborhood (yay, candy!), and watch horror movies, not exactly in that order.

4. Go home and do whatever else I wanna/hafta do tonight after the party.

So, yeah, that's about it.

Anyhow, Happy Halloween and feel free to post stuff cuz I'm throwin' my own mini-Halloween party for everybody! Woo! *dresses up as Joey Jordison from Slipknot* Yeah, this is my costume. Now I match my icon! Yays for me!

the story of Tim and my math teacher

Brief overview of my 8th period pre-calculus class so that you people can understand what's going on: Mr. K.'s the teacher. He teaches us stuff about what we need to know about pre-calculus and such. Then there's Tim, the guy who sits behind me who hates the class but takes it anyway (He normally gets around a C average in the class, this info will come in handy later. No, Tim's not one of those Emo kids.). Normally, when Mr. K. passes out grade sheets, Tim never wants his cuz Tim knows that there isn't a good grade on it, but Mr. K. gives it to him anyway. Tim's pretty much pessimistic about his grade in the class.

So, yeah, with this info in your brains, here's my story:

It all happened yesterday when Mr. K. was teaching us about arcs and angles and equations and circles and stuff like that. After Mr. K. writes down some information in note-taking form, Tim makes this remark that Mr. K. didn't put an "a" in one of the sentences, although everybody knew what Mr. K. was saying. Mr. K. said that he could've made a snappy remark back, but didn't, stating that it would hurt Tim's feelings. Tim said he didn't care one way or the other, so Mr. K. said that his remark was "Like you know what an 'A' looks like." (hey, Tim said that he didn't care about the comment, remember?). The rest of the class chuckles and Mr. K. goes back to his lesson. Then some time passes and once again Tim makes a remark about a missing "a" in another one of Mr. K.'s sentences. The same story as the last remark about the "a" as last time, only Mr. K.'s witty remark was "Like I'm gonna see an 'A' on your paper", assuming that Mr. K. is referring to the next quiz we're gonna have sometime or another. Once again, the class chuckles and then the day ends without another one of Tim's remarks about the "a"'s in Mr. K.'s lesson on the board.

So, yeah, just goes to show that one should never make remarks about how the math teacher writes things on the board.

happy b-day to me

Yep. It's my birthday. Yay, for me, I finally turn 16! No, I don't have a learner's permit to driving (my 'rents want me to take driver's ed while I have my permit, so, yeah), so the only place that I can drive anybody is off the wall with my crazy antics :P. Anyhow, yes my birthday was good. Some girl from my school (I think her name was Danielle or something) gave me a plate full of chocolate chip cookies. *grabs cookie off of plate and munches on it while typing* Yum.

So, yeah, that's it news-wise. Well, for today at least. May the craziness and random insanity never end, not even when the world explodes into ten million little pieces.

Why I like October this year, amongst other things

Although it's not really a holiday, I just felt like wishing everyone a happy Friday the 13th. Why I like Friday the 13th, I dunno. But hey, it adds up to why I like the month of October this year. So, including today's date, here's why I like October this year:

1. Friday the 13th

2. I turn 16 on the 18th (woot-ness!)

3. The band-of-the-month at Spencer's is Slipknot (yes, I'll admit, I'm obsessed with that band)

4. Halloween. I luv Halloween. It's so fun.

Ok, back to whatever it was I was gonna talk about. Changed my icon,...again. Plus, a new emblem! Yay! I thank fate and rudyroundhead that I happened to be randomly going through my GS friends' blogs, cliked on rudy's (it was the first one, so, yeah :P), and saw the Mortal Kombat thing. Yay for me, the link to the voting thing was right there on the same page when I saw the emblem, so yay, I was able to get it. Thanks, rudy!

The explanation for the icon: mp3.com. Yeah, I finally got to check that out. So, yeah, if you want to see the real me when it comes to what kinda music I listen to either in my head or some other way available, feel free to check out my profile on that. Yes, on some bands (Slipknot especially), I'll admit, I really like 'em or I'm completely obsessed.

How to find out how old you are on some other planet and other fun things

I found this crazy, little thing on www.i-am-bored.com this morning and thought that it was crazy enough to share with the people on here. Here's the link:

http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=14297

And if you like optical illusions, try this link:

http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=2939

Trust me, both things are fun. For more fun, just go to the i-am-bored homepage where there's tons of other stuff on there to fiddle around. And while you're there, if you feel like it, just look me up. My i-a-b name is the same as the one here on GS, so I'm not that hard to find. I have no idea why I just asked that question about my i-a-b thing, but yeah, that's me for you in a nutshell.
