Apologies for not posting anything in awhile, things have been really crazy between school and work. So yeah, lots to talk about, so I guess I'll just run down anything I can think of.
First off, Lost Odyssey and Burnout Paradise have excellent OSTs. (All thanks to my favorite music site, http://gamemusichall.net/)
But the big event for this week will result in many, many sleepless nights. Three words:
Not quite Silent Hill, but still, I've been craving for a good horror game since the first Condemned, and Bloodshot looks to more than deliver. Besides boasting a scary-ass single player, C2 has some interesting Fight Club situations (different survival modes basically), and eight player MP. Monolith seems to have read my mind and put one of my worst phobias in the game, baby dolls! Only these explode!!
On a random side note, I basically got my head shaved on Saturday, and twice already, people have asked me if I was joining the USMC, lol...
Got some emulators on my computer working, and now I'm addicted to Crono Trigger!
I downloaded a couple of Arcade games off Live; Rocketmen: Axis of Evil and Triggerheart Exelica. Rocketmen is a lot of fun, I almost thought I was watching some spin-off of Futurama thanks to the cel-shaded art design and tongue-in-cheek dialogue. All in all, it's your typical isometric shooter, but upgrading all you weapons and stats becomes quite addictive. The MP is relatively lag free, but ends up being just a bum rush to steal the most kills from other players. As for Triggerheart, well, I haven't played many crazy-Japanese-isometric-vertical-shooters, except for Ikaruga, and game definitely gets a little crazy. I find it odd to include the game's "story" in the 'Help & Options' menu... All in all, the game is decent but ridiculously short, like I can literally complete it within 20 mins.
Alright, that about sums up all that's on my mind for the moment. I've put it off for quite some time, but I promise the next post will be the Top 10 Best Comic Relief Characters.
