I was on gamemusichall.net listening to some soundtracks when I saw an ad for a free MMORPG called Rappelz. Now normally I'm not a the kind of person to just go clicking on ads I see, in fact I just about never do, but the artwork for this one really caught my interest, so I proceeded to investigate it just to make sure it wasn't some kind of scam I was walking into. Thankfully, it's totally legit. After signing up and all, I tried downloading the game last night but something messed up and I had to redo it in the morning. As I write the blog, I'm downloading the updates, but until that finishes I thought I'd give you guys a little info on it.

Basically, the premise is that the three races: the Gaia (the humans), the Deva (represent light, like holy warriors), and the Asura (represent darkness, assassins etc.) defeated someone called "The Witch" long ago. Now, she's coming back and the three races have to defeat her once again.

The premise actually plays a small part in the actual game, but a lot of the game aspects work similar to WoW, and not to mention it has pretty damn impressive graphics for a free MMO. I just thought since I'll be going into game without any prior experience, that it wouldn't hurt to have a few buddies to start it with. So if you're at all interested, you should download it, I mean, it's not as if it'll cost you anything! Here's a CG trailer and a gameplay trailer to hopefully entice you a little!
