I am really excited and have allready pre-ordered it. I have played the first 2, and even though Bethesda is working on it, I still think that its gonna kick ***.
The part that has me is the graphics for this one. I know its not going to be exclusive to the PS3, but the PS3 right now is in sore need of some RPGs. There are so few for the platform right now, I figure that the more people buy them it will garner more support for future RPGs to be released on the PS3.
I'm not really sure, but I would think that the PS3 is supposed to be region free in "content", the updates shouldn't be a problem as far as the system goes. You shouldn't have any problems with the games as long as you bought the games from the land of OZ. There are restrictions on the games themselves out in place by the Aussie government, but if your buying the game there it shouldn't matter. Hope that helps :)
Well, it seems to me that a total emulation would be a bit processor intensive. The software BC right now is not a true software emulation. You have one part of the PS2 system hardwired in(can't recall of the top of my head right now which). The 20 and 60GB both have the CPU and GPU(emotion engine) hardwired on the motherboard.
The 80GB with BC has the software BC but like I said they still have one of the two PU's on the motherboard. It only emulates ONE processing unit. The PS3 IMO doesn't have the capability to truly emulate both. They are barely able to emulate the PS1.
Reliable NES emulators didn't really come out till almost 10 years after the system was discontinued. Most PCs didn't have the capability of even running that small chip-set in emulation until mid 2001. True emulation is not as easy a thing to do, at least to do it well. Sorry to get long winded, especially on my first post lol.
