It's an oldie but a goodie. You won't be sorry if you do decide to give it a try. At the very least, you can try it for a few minutes and if it doesn't seem like your cup of tea it's not like you wasted any money.

Just wanted to let you know that after years in the making, a fangroup has released an HD mod version of the very very awesome game Star Control II - The Ur-Quan Masters. If you've never played this masterpiece of computer gaming, there has never been a better time! And if it's been a while since your last play through, why not give it another go with this fresh coat of paint?

The download includes everything you need to play and is absolutely free of charge (the game has been open source for years now). It really is one of the best video games ever made so please give it a try.
