Those of your who visit my journal regularly must remember a few weeks back when I got my car and was stopped by the cops 'cause I went "need for speed underground" on the streets of the university close to my house and I didn't have my brazilian drivers licence at the time....

Well, I have been waiting for my licence for the longest time to arrive in the mail just to find out that I must take a refresher course to get the damn thing....and to make things worse they tell me "You know, since you've never had a brazilian licence before it's better if you go ahead and do whole caboodle again" ( driving school is mandatory for everybody here)

:| shoot me now please.

I started class today and I was so streesed out to find out that I have to take theory classes, medical tests, a psychological test and the dreaded driving test with 2 testers on board.. I just want to go from point A to point B..not pilot the space shuttle for god's sakes.

This lady instructor scared me so much with the way she explained to the class how traffic here really is....when she was done all I wanted is to run around in circles screaming in horror.... honestly, driving here makes you wanna scream in horror....and I had to go to this class to stop and realize that what I learned from driving all these years in the States is not even close to the defensive driving skills I need to learn in the next 30 days.... excuse me for a sec... *runs around in circles screaming in horror*

In a way I am glad I am being forced to take this classes not only because I will be a better driver in this crasy brazilian traffic but also because the school is so close to where I live that I can enjoy the wonderful weather walking to and from there. (while my car sit in the garage wondering why we are not going for a drive)

Only one problem though...I have never been a good test taker. :|
