[QUOTE="jimmypsn"]I agree. I think it has more to do with agreements with manufacturers than anything. It allows for users to see a "marketable" image of the car for a long time before they start seeing it trashed. I don't know why Sony (PD) had problems with manufacturers and no other company has. probably because GT is the most recognized car game...Probably more than 95% of people who played GT5 have played a GT game before, so why do they force users to go through a leveling up process to get damage. Does this leveling process even exist or are people just assuming from that hatchback video that keeps floating around. Did polyphony digital or Sony even confirmed leveling up damage.

[QUOTE="drinogamer"]agree im sure he is going to get to lvl 40 as well to see for himself about damage and other things. justin is a great reviewer and felt in this very thread people went overboard against him when he was on now playing. Stevo_the_gamerWhen folks criticize a game you love and are really looking forward too, you can get "passionate". *remembers raging on the GUFU irc when being trolled over F:NV* :P I understand that but to be honest if Halo Reach was getting the scores GT5 was getting I would accept it and you know for a fact that people who be pointing this out to lems probably 2'x more.
[QUOTE="maniacalrooster"]How the hell do you know that others didn't "give it a chance?" Gamespot is always last and it's never because they are giving the game a chance. What a load.musicalmacYou are incorrect to assume it's because GS is lazy. Your assumption is also short-sighted and naive. Justin is going to give GT5 all the time he feels he needs to give it. agree im sure he is going to get to lvl 40 as well to see for himself about damage and other things. justin is a great reviewer and felt in this very thread people went overboard against him when he was on now playing.
nobody knows except for that questionable rogue youtube video. And yes it upsets people because you are a mod and you cant be curious, Im curious as well although we have everything like tweets and conformations, yet not real evidence of severe damage or mechnical damage which I believe will be patched at a later date.look one or two pages back.. user name nonstop madness posted pics of his mustang with tons of damage on it tons of damage? really? I see a car tumbling with few scratches on it...[QUOTE="drinogamer"][QUOTE="musicalmac"]Anyone made it to the part where cars take real damage? Which cars can sustain damage? Maybe I shouldn't be inquiring about the game. It seems to be upsetting people. Guess I'm just too curious to help myself.ultraking

Your point was kinda irrelevant to what I was responsing to beforehand so I didn't bother to actually respond beside the lame reply. The point of the post I made which you are responding to was that the claim of cows preaching GT5 as the second coming of Jesus was unfounded. Since the majority hype the game as a 9, the so called "majority" that hype the game as a 10 exist only in BB-whatever-his-name-was's mind. That was the point of the post.
Wrong , is this a joke ? unfounded ? you're not fooling anyone. All you have to do is a search for GT5 threads , but anyone who has been here the last year can't deny how much this game has been hyped. So please stop the laughter is killing me.
it was hyped beyond anything I have ever seen, its just now people dont wanna admit it because its not doing as well as expected. You can hype this AAA. Fact is it has to be better than Forza 3, (which I have very little love for) or it flops. And it should flop. Becuase this game is poorly done. Just so happens that in order to not flop, it needs a 10.That isn't true even in the slightest. it kinda is when you had all these gt5 fanboys say it would get a perfect score.[QUOTE="BBC454"][QUOTE="OneLazyAsian"]
Yet still the majority is AAA...wierd I know...
