*Major spoilers below. You've been warned!* Good article all in all, though I disagree about the Reapers being uninteresting. Personally, I was fascinated by them. A godlike race of machine intelligences who've set up the entire galaxy as their plaything is quite interesting in my book. But in my opinion, the greatest game villain is none other than James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2. The game world draws you in to such an extent that you don't even realize he IS the villain until near the end, but he's so sympathetic that you can't hate him. But on the other hand, he is a murderer. Tormented by guilt perhaps, but a murderer nonetheless.
