@mister-man: Congratulations on showing the world that you believe in technology that is nowhere near exisisting on a consumer level. I next expect you to make a thread claiming the new iPhone will have time travel built in.

The reality is that you are going to get tech that we've already been enjoying for years but in a sleek case and at 200$ on top of the 800$ you've just paid. I'm sure you won't mind though as no doubt you've already paid 150$ for some wireless earpods that sound like there from a dollar store.

We are talking about a company that sees a new shiny colour as a major announcement ffs.

Let me put this in to perspective, you haven't even got a basic industry standard feature like fast charging yet.

Enjoy your 800$ phone that rivals 2013.

Firstly I'd like to congratulate Apple, it's great to see that in just a few months before 2018 they'll finally be landing in the year 2013. Maybe in 2020 you'll get fast charging 1.0.

Secondly I can't wait until 2025 when they are finally able to provide us with at-least a quad HD display and decent VR experience. Until then I'm sure paying £800 for a display comparable with a £80 budget android device will suffice.

Maybe by 2030 they'll come up with a design that doesn't look like it's ripping off the 2013 HTC One m7 and will try to innovate again. By that I don't mean creating a ridiculous glossy black colour variant that makes it look like the phone has been attacked by Freddy Kruger if a single spec of dust lands on it.

Exciting times for Apple fans.

If its running android then its not a feature phone. Do you even know what a feature phone is? It has nothing to do with buy one get one free offers...

Ios is the one that has all the limitations you'd expect on a feature phone with it being so locked down and limited in terms of customisation, it's basically a feature phone with a huge app store. The OS is so basic and boring. Thats why the ancient 4S was even able to run the most recent versions of IOS. It has nothing to do with apples hardware, when an OS is that lightweight and basic it requires far less resources to run. Android is far more complex and opens the door for you to do so much more.

I've owned multiple iphones myself and yea I give credit to apple for how long there supported but I just found them to be so bland, boring and dumbed down compared to the competition.

Also ive just had a look at the geekbench rankings (widely regarded as the most reliable one), the Galaxy S7 scored well over a thousand more then the 6s plus. Infact the S6 only scored a little over a 100 less then the 6s plus despite coming out 5 months earlier... So much for your benchmark boasting.

No

The actual good ones are insanely expensive and the cheap ones are massively lacking in many other areas. Better off with a high quality 1080p set for a good few years yet.

IOS is basically a glorified feature phone OS meant for the technological impaired. It's so basic that of-course it should be able to perform to a high standard even with significantly weaker hardware.

Also in what universe does it outperform the top android devices? Care to back that up and by that I don't mean that ridiculous Antutu rubbish.

They're the version of Sega who are to naive to realise that they are finished in the home console market and unfortunately unlike Sega they're not going out with dignity but with complete embarrassment by introducing products that are horribly obsolete before they even launch, there network in 2016 is still is nowhere near as good as even 2005's xbox live ffs..... They got lucky with the wii where the gimmick initially paid off bringing them an incredible amount of revenue in a short space of time while most of us consumers had already packed the thing away to collect dust inside a cupboard within a year. We've all moved on from this gimmicky pointless stuff but Nintendo are just desperately latching on to the success of the wii hoping they will get lucky again. Newsflash: They won't.

The only thing they had left going for them were there ip's and they've already started sharing them with mobile platforms.

I bet the NX won't even sell 10 million.
