I was just wondering if there was anyone that works or is involved in the gaming industry that could point me in the right direction. I'm looking to pursue an education in Game Design and would like to know what the most reputitable schools are. We are constantly bombarded by tech school commercials on the television but I have heard alot of bad things about them. I hearthe education at places like DeVry and ITT Tech, among others, is sub-par and that degrees from these institutions are not taken seriously from the industry. Any help would be appreciated. Are these stories false or are there other colleges or even universites in the states that have developed a good game design curriculum? I would just like to know from someone that is familiar with the industry and the education required to pursue a career within it.
Thanks alot
Dave
HDD-required games should happen and you better make them happen. 20% of the 360 market will have to spring for a hardrive, too bad. Although I think with a core console serial number and the purchase ofa HDD-required game, a core user should be able to get a considerable discount on a 20 gig drive, either that or a free one, I mean who's gonna buy a 20 gig now anyway, they will collect dust on store shelves. Get rid of them and get rid of the core once and for all, problem solved! That will make devs even happier to create games on 360 and make sureyou stay ahead of ah, those other guys.Forget the HD-DVD games people, lets just get HDD-required games and that will keep 360 on top until the next gen.
MICROSOFT, YOU NEED TO READ THIS POST!!!!
P.S. Wasn't that the whole point of the Core system, so that you enjoy part of the 360 experience when your broke and thanupgrade it later?
