Well, it's been quite some time since I last blogged, how have you all been? anyway, i recently had my first taste of Kingdom Heart by playing KH:358/2. I'd never previously had the chance to play a KH game since I didn't owe a PS2, but by the looks of things I've been missing out. Having completed KH:358/2 on standard I can easily say its one of the best DS games on the market. Great gameplay coupled with an immersive story which really motivates you to see the game to its conclusion. By offering lots of various weapons that alter depending on what panels you connect to it, the game offers a lot of depth and customisable weapons which make it easy for everyone to find a weapon that suits their play style. If you have a DS and dont own this great title, I highly recommend you to buy it.

Also, as everyone must be aware we are now into Q4 and thus the usual influx of games being released just in time for xmas. This year we are spoilt for choice but I'm mainly looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 (quite frankly, who isn't) and Assassins Creed 2, with Dragon Age and Borderlands looking likely purchase as well. What Q4 release have you got your eye on?

Well yesterday was my 21st birthday, god i'm getting old :P the main present i got was a 32" Samsung HD TV :D so now have my 360 hooked about to that and all i can say is wow. i'm never going back to SD now :P

also, managed to get 5 emblems for the E3 coverage :D still waiting for my day 3 emblem to come through though.

That takes my emblem total to 29 (although it only shows 28 at the moment because the outlier emblem comes and goes as it pleases). So, one more for 30 :)

I obtained the following emblem for completeing the zombie trivia, looks pretty sweet if you ask me.

FIRST in 2009
! Participants in our first game night of 2009 were able to defeat zombies in Left 4 Dead or they picked some zombie brains in the game night 2009 celebration trivia.

Finally obtained enough money to fully upgrade all weapons, meaning i got the last achievement on RE5, so yet another game 1000/1000. Getting the money takes a long time (without using the egg glitch), but i found a way to make a fair bit of money on 3-1 very quickly which speeded up the process. I also went backed and replayed a few of the chapters on professional to obtain all S-ranks, and in the process managed to cut my game time down to 2:54'44", ranking my 370 on the 360 leaderboards :D im pleased with this since without a co-op partner its hard to get a exceptionally fast time as sheeva is always slowing you down.

anyway, in other news i just bought Madden 08 and Mass Effect cheap so those should keep me going for now. However, with exams fast approaching gaming and GS are going to be put on the back burner, sorry to all the unions im in. I will try to get on as often as possible to comment on other people's blog, in the meantime, everyone take it easy,

well, managed to complete RE5 on Professional mode with a time of 3:23''44', which i think is pretty good because that ranks me 1103 in the world on 360, and there is still a lot of time to come of that. so, i just need to fully upgrade all weapons and get all S-ranks to buy the last figure and RE5 will be another 1000/1000 game.

also, one of my videos just got removed for copyright infringement, which is a tad weird since i uploaded it about 2 years ago :? anywho, who am i to argue with the mods?

Well, firstly i finally got the emblem for voting in the GS reader choice for 2008.

Participant in 2008 Readers' Choice Awards.
This user was caught spray painting GameSpot's wall! Or, maybe he/she voted for in GameSpot's 13th-annual Readers' Choice Awards known as Best of 2008.

Secondly, i put the finishing touches to my first RE5 playthrough. I started on normal which means i now have to go back and do veteran then professional. overall this game is fantastic, those who have yet to get it need to check it out soon.
