My first AMV, titled "Albert Wesker-What a Wicked Gang are we Below", is now on GameSpot. I've actually had to pirate my own video since I managed to delete the original video. Music by Streetlight Manifesto. The inspiration for this one was my completion of Resident Evil Code: Veronica X for the second time. I watched the ending scenes where Chris and Wesker have a good, long, 5-ish minute scene together (I've described it as REgasmic) and just watching how awesome it was. Wesker is pretty much my favorite video game character of all time. He could take on Gordon Freeman (Wesker is completely and totally immortal) and Master Chief (Wesker is completely and totally immortal) at the SAME TIME. In short, I'm a Albert Wesker fanboy, but I'm over 18 so technically, and according to United States law, I am an Albert Wesker fanMAN. I hope you enjoy it!
Also, last night (Friday night) at 9 and 10 pm marked the start of the second half of the second to last ever season of Monk and the second half of the (fourth?) season of Psych. Monk's episode guest-starred Steve Zahn, whom you may have seen in "Saving Silverman" or more recently in "Sahara". I happened to like those movies and I like Zahn's work for the most part. He played Monk's half-brother (or is he?) Jack Monk Jr. who is Jack Monk Sr. (played by Dan Hedaya)'s youngest son. **NOTE: That was confusing to me, ask for clarification if you really care or want to know**. Jack Jr. escapes from prison for some minor-ish crime and finds Monk to help him. In his escape, a woman is apparently killed and Jack Jr. believes he was framed. I don't want to give away any more since it had a good deal of twists in it.
I thought that the episode was pretty good, Zahn brought a lot to the episode, which I've noticed are getting a little more stale as the show winds down. His character was funny and his lines were good. I can't really say much more other than the fact that Monk, Jack Jr., and Natalie were the only characters with more than 5 minutes of screen time in the episode (more or less). Oh, and there was a bit more character development for Monk. 8/10
Psych was good. Can't really say much since I've liked the show from the first 80's movie reference. Psych-out was funny. Good plot, good cast, funny show. 8/10
I look forward to what's next for Monk and Psych. Can't wait for the badass Burn Notice premier. Lost should be good too.
