there's just something about the Castlevania series that has never let me down... well, mostly *coughN64cough*
but, the 2d games have always been solid, and great, and Portrait of Ruin for the DS is still a major winner, and rock as ****ing hard as all hell...

I haven't finished the game yet, so I won't put up a real review yet, but i'm definitely enjoying it...
