I picked this up at Target a few days ago for the Xbox 360, and I must say that I love this game. It only cost me $38 and it's just a flat out fun game! I've been playing Halo 3 nonstop since that came out, and thought that was the best game out there. Now I'm starting to think this is a bit better than H3. I seriously didn't think COD4 would be that much better than H3, but it is.

It's a Saturday night, and all I was really looking forward to tonight was playing lots of Halo 3. So I turned on my Xbox 360, connected to Live, and then started up Halo 3. After the game started I got disconnected from Live. So, I tried a few things to get it working, and of course nothing was working. I then checked the forums here to see if anyone else had been experiencing problems, and sure enough it seems that just about everyone is having problems playing on Live. I'm not too happy right now about this, and I hope it's working tomorrow.

Well, I might have made one of the biggest computer purchases of my life a few days ago, but I think it's one of the smartest ones I've ever done. So what did I buy? I got an Apple Macbook Pro (15" Macbook Pro / Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz / 2.0 GB RAM / 160 GB HDD / 256 MB Video) and I'm absolutely loving it! I'm going to write more about it sometime in the near future here, but wanted to share my excitement with everyone here.

One thing I've never understood, is that Microsoft charges for most of their gamer pics and themes on Xbox Live. Why? These are simple avatar images and themes for your local use on your 360, but yet they find another way of making money (not like they haven't made enough already). I'd love to change up my gamer pic from time to time, but I'm not going to do that by paying them money just to have the privelege of doing so. That's ridiculous! People should be able to upload their own images if they'd like to, or at least be able to download them for FREE.

So, I downloaded the maps the night the came out, and I'm a bit disappointed with them. What bothers me the most is that I've played about 30 social and ranked matches since I've downloaded them, and not once have I played a game with them in multiplayer. One of them showed up for a brief second and then disappeared, and I'm guessing it's because one of the players must not have purchased the maps. I didn't buy the maps to play in Forge, as I'm more into the social/ranked matches. I'd be lying if I said that I somewhat regret buying them.
