Magic: The Gathering , dead things in space, and D and D

Oh, I t feels like I am a teenager again. Getting my ass handed to me in a game involving collectible cards. I love magic, they premise is simple, the game mechanics well balanced, and I am enjoying this Planes walkers rendition. It has pre-made decks, so you just have to worry about getting beat by a better player, not a better deck. And Raptr seems to be getting ready to track all my lost hours spent on this game. Nostalgia attack The other good development recently is Dead Space went on sale on steam. I have only played an hour of this one, and I like it. The story seems well done, the characters are not overacted, and the atmosphere is terrifying. Think Event Horizon meets Silent Hill. This one is going to be my next action adventure I play through right now, along with Half-Life 2: Episode 1, that I picked up a long time ago but never got around to playing. In the non video game front, I am gearing up to Dungeon Master my second RPGA event set in Forgotten Realms, much rejoicing, and I am really have a good time playing the D&D Encounters season 2. It is set on Athas in the Dark Sun campaign setting, a world I have loved since my 2ndEd days. The encounters format fits well with my busy schedule (2 hours, Wednesday night). Catch you later, keep those thumbs pressing and those dice rolling
