I have a Hyperx Cloud headset. The way I talk on teamspeak is that my voice sometimes dips and the mic won't pick it up. Plus I feel the headset is a bit heavy .

Any suggestions for a headset w/ mic that is more sensitive and is also lighter on the head? I prefer to keep this under $100 USD. Thanks

Anybody know if FO4 has a mod that enhances the dialogue or gives more RP elements? I enjoy NV for the rpg but hesitant to buy FO4 due to lack of RPG and narrative

I'll probably only preorder two games this entire year, the Division and No Mans Sky. Kind of disappointed with the Division, but No Mans Sky looks way too good, so my cousin and I will be scouring G2A, GMG and all the others to find a good preorder for around 40 bucks or something.

Every game "looks" good before it releases. That is the job of the marketing department for these games, to trick you into buying before it releases. Now you want to do the same thing with NMS? SMH

Can any of you guys who are preodering, articulate what features or gameplay that you like that makes you want to buy it? Or it just "looks good".

Other games that "looked good" and disappointed;

  • Star Wars Battlefront
  • The Division
  • Watchdog
  • Fallout 4
  • etc...

I was just thinking about a year ago when Dice initially told us they'd be working on the new Battlefront game and gave us this trailer. Remember how we were all excited and eager with anticipation about all the possibilities of a new Star Wars FPS game? Remember the joy we all felt back then at watching the first trailer?

And now flash forward a year later to release and many of us are just 'meh'. I just think it's funny how so many games don't come anywhere close to delivering on hype or promise. And I'm generally one who doesn't jump on hype trains. Just a gamer who exudes some excitement at a new release. I have no question but just thought I bring this up for discussion as a gamer who has been disappointing at one too many AAA titles lately; FO4, Battlefront, Batman..... Just venting.

Edit: Misspelled reminiscing and excitement

Fallout 4 or Witcher 3, which do you prefer

Fallout 4 of course.

Witcher 3 is a poor mans Skyrim.

LOL. Other way around. FO4 is Skyrim with a skin.

Witcher 3 is just Witcher 3.

Let's not get into level design though, as both games are pretty poor at it. But at least in FO4 you can build areas.

Speaking of which, the UI to build the bases is awkward and cumbersome. It doesn't make base crafting fun at all.

yes bethesda should have done a lot better with the game, it just looks like a last gen game, crappy graphics and then framerate issues too. i will be buying this game only after few patches have been released .

exactly. why more people don't understand this and look befuddled in this thread is beyond me. the pc port is attrocious. they must've outsourced it or something

@Starshine_M2A2: Interesting. Do you think their game is worth more than the lack of features and poor leveling design as well?

Let's be brutally honest, alot of gamers preordered into the hype train and nobody wants to admit to being suckered. So we make rationalizations and justifications for why this crappy product of a game is good. Rather than challenging Bethesda (and other gaming companies) to push the envelope, we'd rather bend over and let them give it to us time and time and time again.

They had 6 years to evolve Fallout 3. A few years removed from Skyrim. And this is what they give us? If this was small company like CDPR with half the resources and half the budget, I wouldn't be surprised. But with all the resources and money that Bethesda has, they give us this?

6 years.

6 years!

...For showing me what serious, competent, and caring game developers look like. I'll spend the next month finishing up Witcher 3 because CD Project Red embodies those three traits and you guys don't. They understand proper game design, story and character development, and how to make a proper action RPG. You don't. They know how to minimize feature creep and how to scale the enemy NPCs as we level up. You don't. They know how to evolve their current game from its previous iteration and show progress. You don't.

Once I'm done with that, I can move on to MSG5. As for Fallout 4? I'm not spending $60 for a half finished product from a company who clearly doesn't care enough for its customers.

So thanks again

Regards.
