Each Call of Duty has its pros and cons that come with each new installment, I think that each of these games carries themselves pretty well when it comes to their stories. The stories at least give some character development and it just isnt shot everything in sight, checkpoint, repeat till you beat the game. The mulitplayer has become the flagship for online shooters. With the franchise doing so well, of course people are going to shell out the money and they're going to pump out a new CoD every November. I dont play much FPS and I find my yearly romp around with CoD is good enough for me.
@BladeTrinity114 Gaming PC isnt dying, whenever new consoles come out its cheaper to go out and buy a new graphics card than it is to go out and buy a $500-600 system or have to wait a couple of years to have the price drop. Some games dont really work well on consoles such as MMORPG, turn base strategies for example, their isnt enough buttons and sometimes a mouse is extremely easier to use instead of a analog stick.
I dont mind buying DLC's if they are good! but if they are going to leave stuff out I would hope they would drop the price of the original game. I wont buy DLCs that are just maps and packs they need to be episodes or expansions
I can see both sides, I hope they dont make 3D the standard it will scare a lot of people away with how much money it will become. I love watching movies in 3D and I hope that this carries over the video game market. They also need to improve the technology so we dont need glasses and bring down the price for 3D TVs. I dont believe that it will work for all areas, FPS, racing, fighting games would work but Turn base, RPGs or sports games would be a waste of time. We can only hope for the best and enjoy the ride.
