My NHL 09 BAP Story Pt.1 A new start

This is the BAP story of Dylan Spero, its kinda cheesy.

FACTS: Dylan Spero, 6'2", 198LBS. LW, PF. #57

I started playing hockey at the age of 7 years, I loved. I can still remeber the 5.00am practices. At 10 I moved on from houseleague and tried my hand at AA for Hamilton.

I made the team I could not beleive it, that started everything. When I was 15 I was drafted from my Westmount High School Varsity team to the OHL to play for the Kitchener Rangers. I led the league two straight years, i was expected to be everything, the next Jarome Iginla type of player. When I was 17 it was my chance to play in my lifelong dream the NHL. I was said to be a mid to end of the first round. I waited...and waited...and waited. It was entering the 4th round and I had still not heard the magic words, and i never did hear them.

Hockey was not over, I was offered a two year contract to play for the Hannover Scorpions of the DEL in Germany. I said yes this could give a second chance. I was an above average player their, my north american style was a more rugged and fancier type. I led the team with 47 goals and 45 assists.

I went home to my apartment after a brudle 7-4 loss to Adler. My email message said it was from Brian Burke of the Anahiem Ducks.

He was offering me a one-year deal to play in anaheim. I instanly said yes.

I moved back to North America, crashing in my parents basement.

I was sent to Anaheims AHL club, the Iowa Hogs and started on the third line.

My first game was against the Peroria rivermen. I had a great night with a Hat Trick and +4 with a 2 minute elbowing call. Lets hope it continues from here.
