It's been a while.... Weeeee!!!! Here we go!!!!

Alright, so it's been a while since I have made a blog.... I have been intending on making one for quiet some time now but never really got around to it. So anyway, here is some really cool stuff I have run across recently. I plan to start blogging on a more regular basis for gaming news that I find, and also games that I am playing/have played and some mini reviews. I got the "current games" idea from Serbine, he does one every month featuring games he played the past month. I thought it was a great idea so I am going to do something similar to that, but probably more frequently than that. ;) Aaaaaaaanyway, here we go! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, first I want to share an article I found over at Kotaku. I thought it was actually a pretty funny article, but sadly true. Haha! It is about the "awesome" things we have learned from playing video games....

Now I want to talk a little bit about Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes. First off, it's about damn time we got this game! JP has had it for a while now (since 2007) and it's FINALLY getting ported to NA. There were mixed reviews about it, but to me it seems like it will be an extremely fun game to play with a lot of action and hack 'n' slash gameplay. Sometimes it's nice to just kick back and have fun, instead of playing a more serious game like most of them out now. :)

Duke Nukem: Next Gen approved! This is a fan made Duke Nukem make with next grapics, so if you want to re-play the cla$$ic with next gen grapics put to it then this is for you! ....oh, and me! Here is a link to a video of a test run in the game, it looks friggin' amazing! I am really impressed with what has been done with it and to think it is something done by fans is even more epic to me. :D

Dead Space 2 is going to have the BEST EVVAAR Collectors Edition, it is going to include....

Today, EA officially announced Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition, and it turns out a free game (Dead Space: Ignition) won't be the only goodie PS3/X360 owners will be getting with their purchase. EA has also confirmed that the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC editions of the limited-edition package will include a replica of protagonist Isaac's plasma cutter. Modeled after the weapon's tweaked design in Dead Space 2, the plasma cutter also features trigger-activated LED lights.GameSpot

What you see is what you get in this baby and oh boy is it yummy!

Check out the link for more details and here is a video of EA's presentation at TGS 2010. Enjoy! :D

While I am talking about game swag, there are now 2 new shirts that have been made based on No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, gawd I really want both of them shirts. NMH is soooooooooooooo epic, I am actually feeling inspired to play back through them again soon. They were both definately 2 of the best games I have ever played, and extremelyl fun and comedic as well!

Here is the link to the JP site to order them if you don't mind ordering import and can read JP. Not sure if PlayAsia.com has them or not, I haven't checked....

Also, I wasn't aware of this....but apparently they are developing a 3rd NMH for the PS3. Now, I have more of a reason than ever before to get a PS3. Even though it's a port of the original, it will be in HD and include more game modes as well. O-M-G NMH is going to be effing awesome on PS3 in HD! :D

There has been a new Saw II: Flesh and Blood trailer release at GameTrailers.com. It looks like it is shaping up pretty nicely! I liked the first one a lot and the 2nd looks like it is going to introduce new traps, main character, and new puzzles as well. I can't wait for this one to release, but I will have to wait a bit before getting it.

Last, but not least....here is an awesome ZOMBIE WARIO I found over at GoNintendo.com. Damn, does he look pretty SCARY or what? :? ....I know I would run the other way....

Post E3 2010 Thoughts and Booth Babe Science

So, we are now about 2 weeks out from E3 being over this year. Was this year excellent or what!? For me Nintendo took the stage and everyones breath away with the announcements they had. Confirming and presenting the Nintendo 3DS was enough for me, but the other titles like Donkey Kong and Kid Icarus was extremely exciting. These are two very iconic characters that have not recieved any sort of spotlight for a very long time. :)

Of course I loved the Konami press conference and thought it was excellent too, but man do the japanese producers get into their games. I think they live, love, and breathe their titles. It's not a bad thing, but they can act awefully strange at times and it's funny because some of the press that was there really didn't know what to do. There would be these moments of silence and then random laughter after some of the comments the producers would make.

For Microsoft and Sony, they focused way too much on peripherals this year and not enough on games or new technology they could be working on besides Kinect and Move.... I don't really have much more to say for them, I was not impressed by either one at all and I am still very skeptical about the whole Kinect thing and how well it will be integrated with "normal" games and not only the ones designed specifically for it. :?

So, overall E3 this year was aweseome as far as the games that were premiered and more or less told us as gamers to get ready to spend a lot of money this year. We haven't had this good of a gaming year in a loooooooooooong time! :D

Here is an article on the science behind booth babes and gives a slightly different outlook on those pretty ladies we all get to gawk at every year.

E3 2009 Press Conferences.... Who's the big dog now?

So, here are the press conferences from E3 2009 and there is so much good info that was brought to us from each company it's hard to determine who won our hearts over last year. In the end, I feel that Sony was the big dog of E3 2009. Everyone seems to be extremely hyped up for this years E3 event. It all boils down to this.... Who will be the big dog this year?

Last year Microsoft brought many things to the table for us. things like Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, Project Natal, and many new games. They are always in the race to stay slightly ahead of the game, keep us on the edge and wanting what they have to offer. As a company Microsoft came in late to the gaming industry, but has slowly taken huge shares of the market and became something that many of us enjoy and beautiful graphics to boot. Here, check out last years video and see what your predictions for this year are going to be.

Nintendo's press conference was quiet interesting and they . They are the best at keeping things secret until E3, aside from the occasional leak here and there. They seemed to be focused mainly on praising the widespread crowd they attract, from kids at home to professionals in the work place. They also showed many of the new peripherals that were coming out for the Wii at the time. Of course they hyped up Mario quiet a bit for all his infamy. I hope this year they will bring more info for us, especially info on the 3DS Project. Check this out and see if you can possibly guess what we have in store this year from Nintendo.

Sony had a lot to offer at last years press conference, as always. They have been the ones who set the landmarks that next-gen systems have to compete with. Every console from Sony has been a smash hit. They premiered over 300 games at last years E3, that is A LOT of games. Although, they did premier the PSPGo which thus far is not doing so well. To be realistic us gamers like having out hard media, not digital copies. They did a really good job covering all of their platforms and providing info for the systems and games alike. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and Sony has that for sure. Watch and see what you think, I was impressed.

Video Game Histroy Month.....

Man, I must have been hit over the head this month or something. I totally missed all the great stuff going on this month on GS in tribute to the industry and it's history. Well anyway, here is a video that is a tribute to Shigeru Miyamoto. IMO he is one of the most important icons in the industry and deserves the attention. :D

Transformers....Do we finally get some justice!?!?!?!?

So, I have been watching the videos for the upcoming Tranformers game and man does it look totally awesome! :D

The only thing I really raise a brow about is the re-design of the character and the fact that Optimus Prime IS NOT a semi....but as long as the game is designed well as far as the story and gameplay I think I can overlook such things. IDK watch and see what you think. :D

The Other M means Megalotopical Epic!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I don't know about you guys......but I !!!!CANNOT WAIT!!!! for this game to release. I think it is great that they are mixing the platforming and FPS $tyles. It makes you wonder if the stages will be just one $tyle per stage, or a good mix of the two. The story looks like it will be extremely in depth and emotional, while keeping you sucked in and involved throughout the entire game.
