I've never played any of the Disciples games, but this one caught my eye by the beautiful graphics. Of course, I couldn't make any SENSE of the story since it was the third installment, but from what I played it seemed fairly promising. Mind you, I didn't play much of it (only a few hours worth). It seems that a lot of the features are nice, the battle system is unique and there a lot of extra things you can do. However, the battle stragedy is what kinda sucked to me. Being able to move your characters around to do flanking and stuff is cool, don't get me wrong, but it seemed like I was just someone watching as the players just kinda... Fought for themselves. Yea I choose the enemy, but the amount of skills that are availble to you are just not enough to create fun battleing. Then again, I'm used to Final Fantasy and they've pretty much MASTERED the turn based game. Also, the game plays a bit like Civilization (where you have turns and can only move so many places per turn).
I'm gonna check out the other two Disciples games, but the first one may be tricky to find. It was made in 1999 after all :/. Oh! One more good thing to say. Disciples III is a fairly new game and, generally, my computer (which is 5 years old) can't handle new games even WITH an Nvida best-that-you-can-buy-for-my-old-computer graphics card andddd extra ram. Surprisingly, I could play this game without too many issues other then slow loading time. So those of you with top notch PCs this game will be BEAUTIFUL to look at :).
