Why are backwards compatibility issues only a big deal when its the PS3 who has them? You hear little about 360 and Wii's issues with BC, and when you do it is made very lightly of, while issues on the PS3 are made to sound like the end of the console. Bottom line- lets wait until the list of BC games comes out and then react, not vice versa. One other thing I find interesting is that editors for a GAMING website have yet to buy a PS3. When your job is video games shouldn't you own every console in order to give the most accurate information and reviews possible?
