Oasis and Blur were highly influential over here on the rock/pop scene, Also the Libertines are pretty much the mold for every modern band coming out of this country atm, as much as I dont care for the Libertines. I agree, but as i dont like there music i dont believe that they revolutionized pop rock, im more of a metal guy so i think that... Lamb of god are probably the biggest influence i have had! Their drummer is amazing!
