I rant about Resident Evil 5. Check it out. ;)

Virtual desktops has long been the major motivation behind my preference for Ubuntu (linux) over Vista and XP. Now, all that has changed!

I'm not sure how long this has been around, but CodePlex has built an incredible Virtual Desktop tool for Windows.Check it out, it's free!

Virtual desktops allow you to basically have multiple work-spaces, with separate programs running and all that jazz. I can have one desktop for my homework and essay writing, then have another open for my programming stuff, and have another open for my music programs. it is basically a beefed up version of the task-bar, and is great for organization andun-cluttering working space so you can focus on what needs to be done.

Vista owners, give this a try!

BLECK! I can can derive no pleasure from a drink that tasted like undiluted tomato soup!

This is why fruits are awesome and vegetables are hell-spawned instruments of human suffering!

All I can say is that this game is one of the best FPS's I have ever played (and I've played all the big ones)!

I'm several levels into the campaign now, and it just keeps getting better and better. The enemies are intelligent and every battle feels over-the-top. The weapons in this game are purely insane. The Auger in particular is outstanding, and forces you to think outside of the box, because enemies can fire through walls and erect temporary shields that you must circumvent. There are usually alot of enemies onscreen at once and they can be a little to difficult to take down at times, but they are varied and impressively rendered.

I also played some online matches and got COMPLETELY OBLITERATED. I don't know if people on PSN are just really good, or I'm just really bad. Either way, getting your butt handed to you is no fun, and I didn't play that long. After I beat the campaign, I'll take another stab at online play.

I have been wanting to create a union for a while now, and I think I'm finally ready to start one up.

It will be called the Digital Physics Union, and will be devoted to discussing the latest breaking technology in the world of physics engines and video games. Videos, forums, guides, and demos/downloads... I have many big dreams for it.

Of course, before I can start this union, I need officers. These people will be the charter members, and will be moderators on the boards as well as the primary architects of the Union.

I left GS for a while to go to GiantBomb, and although it is an awesome site I missed the forums here and I missed the awesome news coverage. So, I've made a new account on GS (I hated my old username!), and a new beginning. I'll still be on Giantbomb alot, but at least now I can go on GS and not cringe at the sight of my old username (fiscope)!
