OMG I bought this game as a birthday present for myself since it's been a while since I bought myself a game. Now the reason why I decided to purchased it was because I was in the Sony store a while back in November 2010 and they had Gran Turismo available to play on the console so I checked it out and I was having a good time with it. I loved the graphics and the details on the car and the landscape. I just decided to post-pone it because I didn't felt like getting it at that time. March comes and I'm just said ah what the heck with this I'm going to get it and so I did I started playing it and got into it. I'm not going into details because I don't want to make this longer than what it is. All I'm going to say my racing games that I have played Need for speed 1,2 (Carbon killed it for me), Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for the PS2. GT5 got my attention by the fact that you can upgrade your car from engine to appearances
