Well, considering it has been roughly two years since I last posted a blog, I'll just give all those who care a brief summary of the past two years.
I moved out of my controlling mother's house and I've pimped out my computer at my father's house--even though now said pimping-out is beginning to show its age. I'm a junior in high school (as opposed to my freshman self) and I am anxious for college which I've now decided I want to go into video game design. Sure, I might become an interpreter or a teacher for high school (granted I hate high school so I'd be disappointed in coming back and working there for the rest of my life), but right now, it'd make sense to make a job through something I enjoy. Maybe web design, maybe graphic arts, but all I know is that I love coding after taking my computer science class and I wanna learn more about it.
Other than what I just typed, nothing really has happened the past two years. I worked at Target for a while but then I quit since the supervisors are bastards but the job I actually did enjoy (being a chocolatier) went out of business due to the damnable recession.
However, my question to those who read my pseudo-insane ramblings is this: in preparation for the Sims 3, do I need to update my graphics card (NVidia GeForce 8600 GTS) or should I just get a whole new computer (I run a 2006 Windows XP w/ 4GB RAM and the graphics ard I just listed; I don't know the processor off hand and I'm writing this during school)?
One thing, though, is that I'll be a lot more active now, reviewing a few games and being more than happy to meet fellow gamers/game enthusiasts/nerds. :D
