Does anyone have a clue why the formatting always is screwed up? The last lines have no spaces. Bugs me.

The amount of noise depends on how hot your PS3 is. I had my console stuck inside a VCR cabinet with no ventilation in the back. The machine got really hot real fast and the fan sped up to maximum.

I sawed off the back board to give it some air and after that the fan has never gone into high gear. Try placing it on top of a table or even vertical. I have no clue if there are 2 versions of the fan. All I know my fan works harder if it has more heat to move... Now it runs as smooth as silk.

You can also burn a cd/dvd with data and copy it.
