Glad to see Game Spot starting to review some early access games, but they should not be scoring the games. The reviewer should be simply be saying they recommend trying it or wait and see how it develops. A 6 is a little generous for something that's little more than a gameplay concept.
@thelostscribe: I doubt WB would create an agreement to licence character IP's like Batman when they are also trying to sell those IPs. It would complicate the purchase deal for DC comic if a game publisher owned the right to make the game with those characters. HP and LOTR are different stories but WB can now shop those licences around to the highest bidder and keep those IP's non exclusive to one publisher if the so choose.
Imagine you were looking into buying DC comics but only Tencent could make your games with those characters because WB sold the right to them when they bought the studios, before you could buy DC. that would be a deal breaker wouldn't it.
Other than maybe MK without the licences for the WB franchises and Lego to go with the studios I don't see a benefit for Microsoft to purchase WB games. Though I don't know why they would spend money to get the Mortal Kombat IP when they could just make a new Killer Instinct
I'm not a Fan of the design, I especially don't like the USB ports in the center of the console. I do hope the empty space above the USB ports is maybe hiding a small display of some sort.
@Jinzo_111887: I was a little surprised to see Bethesda and 2k games on GFN during beta considering their partnership's with AMD Radeon. maybe they were exploiting a loophole in their agreement with AMD because GFN was only in beta then on full release AMD told them to pull their games
@kappamerc: to me "done when done" coming from any non independent company's employee trying to sell me something will always be taken as a diversion. Blizzard never idolized this mentality. Blizzard was successful in the 90's for its innovation, not for it's games polish and finish that came later. Blizzard is now slipping up not because they are being rushed but because the empoyees that made Blizzard a legendary studio of the 90's no longer work for blizzard
@kappamerc: That "when its done" culture/mentality people think they had/have was just an excuse they used during interviews to avoid talking about star craft ghost back in they day. It was never true. It's just an interviewee's way to politely say "I don't want to talk about it" when asked about a product.
@f-lambda: That's mentioned in the bill but I think those types of games are exempt or would fall under a different law
