thanks for the advice guys! it seems to me that LG is the way to go. iv been reading some threads about viewing distance and 720p vs 1080p and i have a few questions that i couldnt seem to work out 1: i will be using my TV at uni in my room, so will be viewing fairly close (im guessing between 3 - 6 feet??), will i be able to tell the difference between 720 and 1080 at those distances? and this is mainly for gaming. 2: how much difference will the resolution make at 3-6feet? ie 1920x1080 or 1366x768 ? and also does the resolution link with the 720p / 1080p? like is 1366x768 for 720p and 1920x1080 for 1080p ?? thanks :)

hi everyone! ok so basicly im having trouble deciding which TV to go for. its for me to take to uni so will be mainly used for gaming and films, maybe actually TV programmes but not sure yet. so the emphasis is on gaming. now i dont want to spend over £300, pref less than £250 a few iv seen are: Sony Bravia KDL32EX301U 32-Inch -£260 LG 32LD320 32-inch LCD HD Ready -£200 are those good TV's to go for? and if not does anyone know any better for similar prices? thanks :) ellspeedy
