well here it
times i was LHB- Pre-2nd grade (recently tried left again and i was ripin the s*** outta the ball
times i was RHB- 3rd-8th grade
well here it goes, growing up as a left handed person and such, everything felt great from the left side (crayons, hjolding, BATTING)
but when learning baseball, coaches would give me tips like, keep your eye on the ball, turn your hips, 2 hands on bat,etc
but then they add at the end of the sentence, "well since your a left handed batter..." and i be like WTF (didnt really say that as a pre-schooler but you get the idea so i just bat righty like the coach would down the road to truly understand and i did ok (not as good as I was lefty at the time but then i became truely right handed
so here i am finished with 8th grade playing baseball again but when i started I DID TERRIBLE riht handed, my friends are like KEV WHAT HAPPENED! and stuff like that. i was like 1-12 i think in a few games with them.
i tried all different batting stances but nothing worked. I kept workingwith my friends to get me outta this stupid skid. I thought i had something with the Johnny Estrada stance butstill did bad.then for some reason i was like "well i used to bat left handed...."
then i did AND I CREAMED THE BALL. and when i mean creamed. I MEAN CREAMED. LINER SHOTS and i was hitting them up the middle a good amount of the time too. (can't hit oppisite field, never could)then i got blisters on my hands after the 20th AB and i think i only got out 3 times (and maybe 2 cheap hits) but a .750 Batting average is pretty damn good i say! tried again today, arms sore to death, and did really good again
so my question is, should i stick with batting lefty or try and get my right handed stance again, dont wana be a switch hitter, kinda want it to be one or the other. I dont want to look stupid in a true game batting lefty.
so my question
