Airport Terminal

So I've been spending most of my time playing this game on my Iphone. How should I put it? it seems a little different from most time management games I have played and is pretty much... addicting. I admit I tend to fall victim to such games, but that only happens once in a while. I've been looking around for the perfect simulation game but alas, it's tough, seeing how most games are only 'free' for a few levels or none at all. This game literally came FREE, as in the entire game was free, but hey, only on that particular day I just happened to be browsing the store :P Anyway, ... The game-play. There's 5 levels in each stage, 2 parts in each level - quite unique I must say, considering how most time management games has only one objective. In Airport Terminal, you basically play the role of the person managing passengers checking in (first part), and then managing them again while going through the customs checkpoint (second part). Like most time management games, your main objective is to make sure to reach a certain target. However in this game, you're not only to reach a certain target, but to also finish the level within a given time-frame. Any time you exceeded the time-frame without serving all your passengers, you would have to restart the level. Graphics-wise. I'm not one who's really critical about graphics, especially for mobile games, but I consider the graphics on this game to be excellent. It borders more on the cute side, perhaps meant to attract to the female side of the player demography or just casual gamers in general. Kids are welcomed to play too, as this game promotes no violence, but instead seemingly contains some underlying educational elements. The game in general. Pretty good I must say as compared to the many time management games I have played on both the PC and the Iphone. Although it's not using much of the Iphone capabilities, I'd much preferred it to stay that way. Countless times I encountered games whereby the drag and drop function was a complete mess (i.e. lag, game not responding quick enough, drag and drop to the wrong station because the game screen is simply too small etc) and the upgrade system - absolutely bull. Everything within this game is free of charge - you don't have to pay anything additional in cash, unlike how most games are.. though I have to say it's probably too late for you to get it for free since it was only free for a day. Nevertheless, whether free or not, I think it's quite worth the price because of its re-playable value.

Dragon Nest and its over-crowded servers

I'm usually not easily fazed by games that were given too much attention, but I have to give credit to Dragon Nest for living up to all the hype lol I pretty much played the game without having a single clue of what it's about. Absolutely zero research on classes, storyline, and game-play. So unlike me. I was too busy with other important things and the only reason why I even played it was because I was dragged in by a friend or two. It was quite a distraction from playing too much of Atlantica Online (that game bored me). And then here comes the issue of choosing classes. I usually go with range, and having NOT doing any research on the game... I was kinda regretful. I apparently spent a lot of time leveling up an archer only to realize that its skills and damage pale so much in comparison to a cleric. I'm quite the soloist so I thought the archer would be a good choice. Well.. not so much, especially after I had my hands all over the cleric. Holy mother..... that class OWNS. I have also tried out the other classes as well. Not feeling the Sorceress class for some unknown reason (unlike my friend who's absolutely crazed about that class), the warrior seemed OK but ... not my type. So.. back to the cleric I guess? Only thing I'm not really happy about is that all these characters have fixed genders -_- I want a FEMALE CLERIC! Do you have any idea how long it took me to come up with a nickname that fits a MALE CLERIC?? The agony. Anyway, regarding the game-play. It was quite a challenge starting out, but I eventually got used to it. I can't say whether I'm really addicted to the game or not as I don't go on it everyday. But when I'm on it, I couldn't find a reason to stop. Well.. unless the game goes on a maintenance or I got kicked out for having a crappy internet connection, most of the time I would be in there grinding like no tomorrow. What perhaps kept me interested was the TITLES, and the hunt for better equips. I don't like playing a game where equips are limited (and almost zero % in terms of item drops). The over-crowded servers can be quite a pain (queuing up behind 800 players to enter a server??) but overall I quite like the game :D I mean, in comparison with the many MMORPGs out there, this one has the potential to be the next big thing IFFFFFF more contents are being put out and the level cap, raised.
