Wow this news about E3 getting a totally new revamp is awfully disturbing. I just can't see how this will benefit the industry. Sure, developers will save a ton of money in the process, but at the cost of attracting consumers...a tricky move. I agree with one of the Gamespot editors when he explained that developers will more than likely shift huge announcements to events thrown on their own terms. This will ultimately destroy the spectacle of E3 and diminish its importance in the video game industry. Not to mention it has crushed my dreams of ever making my way to the LA Convention center for an E3.... :(
