We have three main providers on video game fun in front of us. One is a true veteran, the one that started it all. In it for the love of video games. The other two are general newbies, part of HUGE webs of greed that do not neccesserily love video games, just your cash. I know the PS3 is going to win the current "console war" but why?
Is it because you had to buy two or three PS2s to last the lifetime of one gamecube? is it because microsoft holds huge celebrity parties trying to trick you with advertising instead of spending money on game inprovements? Is it because they are going to bundle in extra equipment you don't need ( not for free of course) so they can keep tabs on every apliance in your household? Or is it because both of these companies want to reduce the future of gaming to nothing more than better resolution on the same gameplay?
So go buy a PS3 of $600.... you've already played it. Probly multiple times if your PS2 is as reliable as most, but whatever. Sure Nintendo needs profit, and they are maticulous. But i challenge anyone who reads this to tell me they have done something as underhanded as making game discs that somehow scratch easier than DVDs. Or charging a rediculous monthly charges for online play.
