I started off this year with some money issues. Lacking the money to afford all the great cames coming out at the beginning of the year, and having to share the computer now, I have to come up with an alternative idea of enjoying my time. Last year I recieved my first two platinums. I wasn't one for bothering with platinums and achievements, but when I played L.A. Noire last year, I enjoyed it so much I had to get my moneys worth and I went ahead and went for the platinum. That opened up a little bit of motivation for me to continue on the path of platinum gaining, so when I bought the Sly Collection, I went ahead and platinumed the first game. Those games however, are extremely easy to platinum, and there is no excuse for anyone owning a copy of the collection, to not have platinums for all three if you've played them all.

Anyway, after finishing the first game and getting the platinum, I lost the motivation to continue playing the other two. (I'll get back to them later). I couldn't figure out what I wanted to play, or what I wanted to platinum. Which brings me to our plan this year. Dennis and I thought things over, and we noticed we have a ton of games that we never bothered to platinum. Since we don't have the money to buy anything new for quite a while, we agreed to platinum all the games the other has chosen for us. Meaning, he chose the games I was going to platinum this year, and I chose for him. Anyway, that's out goal for this year. It's cheap, challenging, and fun. Plus, look at all these potential shiny new platinums!

I stayed away from games that were a little out there to plat, like the COD games and Street Fighter. (We want to stay away from most online trophies as we can). He agreed to NHL, because he enjoys playing that online already.

I was really upset about Alice: Madness Returns, I really hated playing that game and I banged my head against the walls countless of times due to some of the ridiculous jumps in that game. But he chose it and I have to grind through it. I was really excited about Mass Effect 2 being on my list. I didn't play the first one, but it was something I was debating on picking up finally. Keep in mind that a lot of these games we've already beaten, all we need to do is platinum them. The game I decided to play first was A Crack in Time, and so far I've collected 6 zoni, and 4 gold bolts. I have a lot of work to do, then again, I just started it tonight. ;]

2012 is going to be a fun year, and we don't need money to make it happen.

I swear I HATE it when you die in the middle of a boss fight without being able to save right before! Going through 10 minutes of endless dialog just to try again is FAIL! It's not so bad with a lot of the newer games since you have the option to skip most of it, but this ISNT A NEW GAME!!! AHHH! >:o

This is the only stream I was able to make it to today, but I have to say I wasn't impressed at all. I missed most of the games at the beginning because I woke up a little late. I will admit, Kinnect is really cool and all, but I'm getting really sick of these fitness games. It's starting to really bug me.

I just recently bought Pokemon: HeartGold a couple of months ago to my happiness. But just last month I found out that TWO more Pokemon games are coming out!? Really? I have to catch more!? Come on, I'm still trying to get them all from Platinum, and transfering over to Gold, why two more!? So I guess it's up to 500 pokemon now? Ugh, what happened to the gold old days of 150? >

Why is it so easy to find anime or manga online, but so hard to find good old American Comics. (No, not the ones from the newspaper either....)

So I just found out today that they're releasing the Persona 3 title for the PSP. And to add to the goodness, it's coming out on July 6th of this year. That's 5 days after my birthday. :] I know what I'm asking for. Could it get any better than this?

So I picked it up once again last night and I'm kinda glad I did, I really just can't get over those games and theres no harm in replay. I think once I finish it again I can pick up Little Big Planet again as well, that game was so cute and fun and I never really got far in it, so why not pick it up once I finish Persona. Not only that, but I noticed that my husband had the complete game of FF7, which I never did beat, so I can always pick that up too. :D

I'm still looking for a replacement, BUT, I surfed the site a little and found out that theyre remaking the original first Persona game is for the PSP! I didnt see any realse date, so it kinda sucks that I'll have to wait for it. Not only that, but I havent really touched my PSP since Crisis Core. I needed a good RPG to play, and I'm glad its on a hand held. Now is it going to be exactly the same as the first in length? Or are they gonna shorten it up for the handheld. I hope not, but I guess when more comes out about it we'll find out.

I'm extremely bored of my current games and I'm tempted to play Persona 3 FES or 4 all over again. I'm trying to find a game pretty similuar to those two. So far no luck. :[ Good news though, I found out theyre bringing the original and first Persona game to the PSP! Now I dont feel so bad about buying one! Only wish I knew an exact date to countdown to.
