Ok, so I have a couple PS1 games that I wanted to try out and play, and everything works fine until I try to save. It promptly tells me that I do not have a memory card inserted (which I do, and which works fine for all my PS2 games.) Do I need to buy a PS1 memory card to save PS1 games?

My charger cost me about 20 bucks or so. So 320 + 2(60) = 440.

As for suggestions for the other game...

If you want a great single player story/atmosphere, go with Bioshock.

For some solid third person action (w/ co-op) go with Gears of War.

If first person is what you're looking for, go with COD 4 (realistic, modern) or Halo 3 (do i really need to explain?)

If you want a third person twitched based action game, consider Devil May Cry 4 or Ninja Gaiden. I'd recommend DMC 4 over NG, but that's just me.

As for rpgs... Eternal Sonata and Lost Oddyssey are good if you're looking for something a little traditional. On the other hand, if a western rpg is what you want, try Mass Effect or Oblivion.

My favorite game out of all those would probably be Bioshock. It wasn't perfect by any stretch. A lot of things about it pissed me off, actually. But it made up for it with a great story, fascinating characters, and immersive atmosphere.

Let's see.

1) Don't take 15 hours before making the story somewhat interesting.

2) More set pieces, less artificial lengthening.

3) Greater degree of control over part members.

4) Grittier combat.

5) Space segments. Let us really command the normandy.

You should yell at the screen until you beat it. That's how I roll.Trickshot771

You honestly think I haven't tried? lol. The stupid prince just keeps dying no matter how loud I yell.

Saying atheism is wrong is an absolute statement. An absolute statement is fact. Ergo, if you state something as fact, it must be supported by facts. God's existence is not fact. It is not absolute. It is a possibility, nothing more, and nothing less. So, atheism isn't wrong.

I've played a good number of hard games. Got through about half of Ninja Gaiden before getting bored, beat the original Devil May Cry 3 before they made it easier with the special edition, etc. But Prince of Persia Classic has got to be one of the most frustratingly difficult games I've ever played.

Now, I just know an old timer is going to come in here and say "back in my day, we didn't even have checkpoints!"

Well that's all fine and grand but I'm of the opinion that the past is best left for the history books. Would variable difficulty have been so hard to implement?

I'm on the second to last level, and I just...keep...dying. Again. And again. And, you guessed it. Again. Talk about deja vu. Now, maybe, just maybe it has to do with the fact that I only have five of those little health bars, but that's only because I didn't have the time to look around. Too busy trying to save the princess before the time ran out. And guess what. Time ran out, and the bizatch is still alive. Fantastic.

So yea, some smarty is going to tell me that I should rant elsewhere, blah blah blah, but you know what? Take a look around this board. Yea, yea that's what I thought.

[/rant]

lol. Way to be a drama queen. While the incidents are unfortunate, I would not characterize the death toll as "unreal." The total number of violent teen deaths is 14. Keep in mind London has somewhere around 10 million people, if I recall correctly. NYC probably has more deaths on any given day. I exagerrate, but you get my point.

Call me a romantic, but I'll go with Jay Gatsby.
