Byshop, I'm assuming you custom built this cabinet.  Do you have a project thread on it over at the forums at arcadecontrols.com?  I'd like to see some pictures of it.

Byshop

It's just a gutted Gauntlet Legends cabinet. I didn't build it from scratch or anything. The control board wood came from Mameroom.com and uses a combination of an Ultimarc ipad and a couple Cthulhu boards. I photographed everything as I went but I don't have a thread on arcadecontrols.com.

Ahh, cool.  I'm almost finished with my first cabinet build.  I used an IPAC in my control panel also, those things are great.

What about Civ V: Gold Edition for $24.99?  Do you think it will go cheaper or should I pick it up now?

What about Civ V: Gold Edition for $24.99??? Do you think it will go down further or should I pick it up for that price?  Seems pretty reasonable.

Yes, way too many to count.  My grandparent's raised me and my grandfather owns a gun shop.  Ammo was cheap 10-15 years ago, plus we reloaded almost all of our ammo which made it absolutely dirt cheap to shoot.  During the summer when I was out of school we would regulary shoot 100-200 rounds a day.  We still get together a few times a year and target shoot for fun.  I've also acquired a pretty decent collection over the years.

We mainly shoot revolvers, by far my favorite for target shooting (44 mag Super Blackhawk's to be exact).

I know everyone dislikes ads, but for you people that actually watch TV and like particular networks/shows... You should really watch live and not DVR fastforward through ads and commercials...

Unless you want every network on television to become subscription based like SHO or HBO... Ads are what pay for it all and the more people don't watch them the less inclined they are to provide money to those networks for their programming...

C2N2

This. I'm a broadcast engineer for a local TV station and if it wasn't for ads, I wouldn't get paid. Local advertising is our single source of income.

I don't know where you get that "clunky and non-response" from. If anything it's the smoothest MMO combat I've ever seen.

Relative to WoW, the character control IS a bit clunky. It doesn't feel as precise.

Exactly. I've spent the most time on WoW than any other mmo's, had around 4k hours on my main before i quit. Something about GW2's controls just feels weird, can't really put my finger on it. I'm sure that I would get used to it eventually, just not sure I really wanna invest any more time into it.

I'll admit, I was pretty hyped up for the game, so I bought it the day it released. I didn't try any of the betas, so I hadn't actually played it myself till I bought it. The world and the content seem pretty good, but the combat drives me insane. It just feels so...clunky and non-responsive, and it makes me not wanna play the game. I know the combat is the highlight of the game for alot of people, but to me its the worst part of the game.

I have about 10 or 15 hours in the game, and haven't touched it since release. Should I pick it up and try to get back into it?

As I get older, I think my drive to play MMO's is pretty much gone. Just don't have the time to sink into them anymore.

I seen them live in Nashville, TN a few years back w/ Lamb of God. Lamb of God sounded absolutely terrible, but Metallica was by far the best band I've ever heard live. It was unbelievably loud, but the sound quality was the best I've ever heard. When Lars would hit his bass drum, it was literally rattling the rafters and shaking the whole building (used to be Sommet Center, now it's the Bridgestone Arena).

How about the Man of Steel trailer?? Did it look amazing? Apparently it brought tears to superman fanboys' eyes at comic con.
