awesome game, and an awesome price. if its brand new, you're a VIP and you get all the DLC maps for free. i play on battlefield a couple times a week and i always have full matches and never any lag. sometimes you do get put in one sided teams, but not always. game is fantastic.

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]1. It's just an OK racing game, when I compare it to my "fun experience" with Forza, Forza wins. *Note MY EXPERIENCE 2. I didn't wait for the game the game waited for me to pick it up. 3.Pros - a lot of cars, rare exotic cars, best looking racing game on a console. Cons - Long load times, the game is almost unplayable without the 8GB install. Also slow menus.

I agree with most of fightingfans points, except i wouldn't give this game an "OK" rating. i think it's poor. Fun factor? Forza wins hands down. this game has tons of cars, TONS, but you can't make these cars YOURS. forza made it so the car you bought was made personal to you by what you can do to the paint/body kits. awesome touches in gameplay that you could waste hours on without even bothering to race. the games lack of car damage (not all cars i mean) is a major disappointment, especially when you look at other racers. the graphics for GT5 are awesome, the physics are awesome, but the game feels bland. over time, i began to grow tired of forza because of the problems i saw with it, but if i think back on it, i would play forza over gt 5 anyday. in fact, i sold my copy of gt 5 to blockbuster today because it wasn't doing it for me. maybe in another 5 years, GT 6 will do what forza 3 did for me when it came out. i'm not a forza/xbox fanboy, i've played GT since PS1, and i still think GT1 was the best racing game ever made, it just had what no other game had. this took that formula and dumbed it down in terms of modifications, etc. i'm one of the few that voted "bad."

I know this is a bit off topic from the main question, but I've played part 1, I liked the game, had a great story. But its not really something that I'm looking to play again, besides getting my trophies. I kind of think sometimes that it's better just to rent the first one.

In all of your opinions, is there a point to purchase Uncharted 2 or just rent it? I do play online, but only FPS games (so far at least). I do want to experience the second part, as I know it's supposed to be great, but what do you reckon, put down 40 bucks on it, or rent it for 10?

Hey guys, just a quick question. Does anyone know why Gamespot takes (on average) longer to release their new game reviews than other sites? It's not the case for all games, but I've noticed it happening more and more over the years. I am unaware of the process of reviewing new games, meaning, does Gamespot have to purchase their own game? Are they given free copies to review? Etc, etc. Well, if anyone knows anything about it, that would be pretty cool to know. Thanks.

I like both games, but if I had to choose one, I would lean towards Battlefield. The levels are massive, the sound effects are great, camping is difficult, vehicles are a plus, etc. one thing i do miss about it is the deathmatch type gameplay, where you pick up the controller and get in a couple of good quick matches. that can't be done. i like mw2, but like some others have posted before, you get tired of it if you play it too much (personal opinion).

i bought the game brand new when it was released. i think the game is a ton of fun. the add-on packs with the game are well worth your money. just be prepared though, though its a first person shooter, it has somewhat of an rpg attack system, where you knock off 'x' amount of points then the enemy dies. it's not like cod or moh where a couple bullets will take down the opposition. took me a bit to get used to, but its an awesome change of pace.
