Lego Monkey

Lego Dragonball Z

Lego Lord of the Rings

Lego Robin Hood

Lego James Bond

Lego Fullmetal Alchemist would be cool

Lego Harry Potter is likely to be incoming to be honest because of the Lego Harry Potter range that currently exists.

I understand where you're coming from, but at the end of the day as long as gameplay isn't sacrificed I don't mind if the game looks fabulous.

The two best rpgs I played for a long time were Zelda: Wind Waker and Dragon Quest on the PS2 (Can't remember the number, was it number 8?) and they were cell shaded, but the looked fantastic, played well, and were brilliantly written and animated.

If the calibre is just as good as those then I'm all for the look being as they want it.

Not at all.

But I do find that frustrating games make me scream, punch pillows and general freak out.

My brother used to hit me when I won at Fifa, but we've both grown up since then. But considering this fact, it seems it isn't the game, but the people who are playing it that cause the violence. I wound him up, and he decided to hit me, had nothing to do with the guys on the screen kicking lumps out of each other.

It strikes me as bizarre that people think that a huge Blu-Ray would mean a huge install.

The install isn't something forced upon the developer by the disc, it's the developer using the fact that every PS3 has a hard drive to do an install so that loading times are reduced when playing the game. I noticed loading times on DMC4 were significantly lower than DMC3.

Every Xbox doesn't have a hard drive because they released a version without it to atract the consumers who couldn't afford the full priced model. So, not every Xbox has a HDD so a game that has an install is not possible, meaning longer loading times.

A huge Blu-Ray would be awesome for gaming, no more switching discs. And Kojima could finally be happy with the space afforded to him by the medium.

[QUOTE="CronoSquall"]200GB mandatory installs? :Perror11

haha. it's funny because it's true.:|

The mandatory installs are on the discs because they're blu-ray, they're on there to reduce loading times when playing the games.

The less discs need to be accessed the better when it comes to play speeds.

Depends what PS3 version do you have? The 40gb version doesn't have backwards compatibility.

Unless you have a PS2 as well.

As with all games everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I'm not saying GTA4 is a bad game. I just didn't get on with it. Yes it is technically brilliant, but I've never really enjoyed ANY GTA game. They just don't do anything for me.

There'll never be a perfect game that everyone will love. We're not all robots that like the same things.

The install:
Okay, I can accept that installs are sometimes useful, but MGS4 takes the p*ss! It feels like nearly nothing is loaded from the disc, hence the numerous occasions where you have to install more data to the HD. They say that swapping discs is bad... but so is having to install content after every mission!

thetruespin

Not only is the install useful for cutting loading times, but it is important to do it frequently because of people with lower spec sstems.

The 20gb version obviously cannot have too much information on it due to limited space, so to make sure that loading times in the acts are low the installs wipe out the previous install to save HDD space.

It isn't a major hardship tbh.

Reminds me of a cross between Lost and Battle Royale.

Battle Royale seems to be the main influence.

Pretty good idea, but wouldn't it basically be Manhunt on an island?
