Activision can't make them work on anything.

All they do is get to advertise the game, and give bungie some money.

Bungie own the ip that acti is publishing, they own their staff, they own nearly everything.

It's just that activision get to advertise the game.

Anyway, I think that Bungie will do something really far away from Halo.

Youre saying Bungie can create ANY IP they want and Activision has no say at all? I dont believe that.

Why is that so hard to believe? Bungie CHOSE Activision after 9 months negotiation. It's clear who wears the pants in this relationship.

Its not that hard to believe but, lets say Bungie wants to make a Rock Band game. Then what?

Is there a good chance Bungie will do something like Halo for the PS3/Xbox 360? What would Activision want them to work on? The only thing the PS3 is missing is a space jumping Halo shooter. Thats what I was hoping Red Faction Guerrilla would be but it FAILED.

I wish profanity was allowed here so I could say some nasty things. Digital Download sucks for consoles. It works fine for PCs because PC games need to be installed and cannot be shared with friends.

I think Namco developers have A LOT more work to do than the Capcom developers.

Modeling the 3D characters of course but also giving all the SF characters a bunch of new moves to match the move list of the Tekken characters. I wonder if Namco will actually create new moves for each SF character and if Capcom will allow it.

Definitely the Tekken version for me. Or maybe both.

All I know is when I was in a community that was into BF2, that I was almost always on vent talking to them through it and not so much worrying about talking to people in-game. Chances are, the less required voip is, the less people are gonna use their mics.

I've played a hell of a lot of CoD4 on PC when it first came out, I rarely ever heard anyone use their mics in that and still rarely ever do. Mainly because there's nothing to say 99% of the time unless you're on some Hardcore server where everyone only lives once for the round.

It's not a Battlefield thing, it's just how online gaming is in general.

I hear you. I come from a Valve background so Im just used to hearing people chatting left and right. Could be a Valve thing. I got BF2 cheap and ditched it because it was a dead silent community for me. Got BC2 and its the same thing except I love the game.

Eh... I always felt BC2 didn't hold a candle to BF2 in terms of gameplay. I gave up on BC2, but still play BF2. BC2 is far too streamlined for my tastes. I prefer more open-ended gameplay that BF2 delivers upon.

If you want teamwork, download the Project Reality mod. Just be sure to read the PDF manual before you start playing. :P Has a bit of a learning curve, but more teamwork and voip than u can ask for.

S.OB. I just downloaded 2 GB. PR but Im having this punkbuster error after 2 minutes of joining a server. It just kicks me from the server. This is also why I gave up on BF2 a while ago but I thought this would automatically be fixed.
