In a relative world, if you give 8 to an expansion of a 6 game, how much is it worth compared to much better games that are even free?
Also the first dlcs were not espansions but dlcs, that's bungee master marketing talking, you shouldnt repeat it.
Last but not least, the time factor, how long Will the bliss last? The answer is pretty easy, you finish the story in 6hrs, you get another 2-4 hrs from the repetitive strikes and if you are willing to waste days looking for a team maybe you Will do the raid. The honeymoon Will be over in a Week....ah the crappy level design, the stupid ai and old matchmaking are still there. A 40€ mmorpg expansion should give you way more than that.
@gww101: the main adventure it's only 6-8 hrs, if you factor in how easy it is and how repetitive the rest is apart from the first time you play strikes I wouldn't consider them real 30 hrs. I have played it to the limit with a warlock trying to get everything out of the way before ending the game and it was around 20 but again the main story should be over 10-15 hrs. I mean I like it, I like hamburgers and junk food but I wouldn't rate it that high compared to a proper restaurant and I really wanted more content. Btw the Nessus ai and the soundtrack are my favourite parts.
I love destiny but it deserves a 6.5 -7.5 tops. The content is very little, the main story it's way too easy, the plot is classic but not developed enough etc. Alao you quickly get out of options and it's still complicated to find raid mates. It's a good expansion and they should have kept it that way not losing alla of the destiny one content. Instead of giving us this crap I really hope they start to ask for a monthly subscription and give us more content.
And we are up again with a huge pre launch marketing but no copies for reviewers. Again a selected Beta and again it looks more like a destiny 1.5 rather than a destiny 2.0. I mean, will we ever understand? It's easy, don't pre-order the game and wait for the reviews to come out. If that was the consumer standard publishers wouldn't have ruined Prey, Destiny (remember activision vs bungie), mass effect and so on.
Major games now days are aelling you a Beta copy, waiting for the sales to show up and then patching it to make it right.
Lets wait for the reviews on this one, Activision cannot be trusted.
The man behind the collector edition bag must hold a really, really, really HUGE grudge against the game. Cannot believe that anyone is going to be spending an extra 50$ for that crap...
