Thats all we know? .. that may be all you know but ive followed mass effects development since the announcement and I KNOW its going to be an amazing experince based on all the interviews the videos .the stage demos and biowares reputation and high standards of game development.
Tjeres really no comparison.. cod4 will be another good shooter amoung many good shooters but mass effect is in a league of its own .. another level . mass effect is more like an experience that will stick with you for the rest of your life. kotors 90 hours and oblivions 220 hours are huge memorys of adventuresburned in my brain .. you may spend that kind of time in cod4 but its the same thing over and over .. hunting down an online foe and shooting them them or throwing a grenade..rinse repeat.
My girlfriend smiles for the last time and gets her last hug seconds b4 i transport myself into the world of halo.....i will leave a note saying i will try to come up for air on nov 19 to spend a day with her before mass effect comes out ..( if she hasnt already moved out)
between mass effect , oblivion ( and shivering ilses), fable 2 and fallout 3 .. you shoudl be more than satisfied and .. of course theres the asian style rpgs that im not much of a fan of but if you like them .. there will be plenty.
bioshock was was anything but a standard shooter .. it was one of the deepest shooters ever .. it had just enough rpg and adventure elements to make it fell like all three of those genres .. fantastic game.
I was most hooked on starwars galaxies ..that permantly concreted me into being a hardcore gamer and then next was elder scrolls.morrowwind.. then halo combat evolved, then theif deadly shadows , the starwars knight of the old republic , then splinter cell pandora tomorrow, then dues ex invisible war,then world ofwarcraft , then oblivion, soon to be mass effect. But anyway the grand prize goes to elder scrolls morrowwind.. i was playing that morning noon and night .. and when we got smashed with a hurricane here in north carolina .. i had a generator hooked up to my fridge, my tv and my xbox and i played morrowind for the wholetime that our area was shut down .. probably 20 hours a day foralmost 2 weekslol
get and play it yourself.. you will enjoy it even though you dont play games alot .. and then decide ..if you wanna let him play onine , set the parental controls ( contact xbox live support for details and help) Its not gory like gears of war...this game showcases action and fun and storyline and not graphic violence ..bt like i said . play it your self so you can see and make your own decision
jeez ..this is a huge game that cant be judged on its first hour or 2 .. the first couple hours are very deciveing .. once you get past that it becomes really fun and you suddenly cant staop playing. Unfrtunatly all these peopel keep quiting after the first hour and giving this 40-50 hour game a bad review and keeping it out of the hands of peopel who would really enjoy this.
