Try Vampire: Bloodlines - The Masquerade.

Source engine, interesting concept and replayable.

If you do try, make sure you use the community patches.

Finished 3 times with different chars and different endings. Really fun!

Well i played it like single player at first. There were couple programs which were making a fake server in your computer and allows you to play in it all alone... i could stand it 10 mins because there is only you playing in whole word, only the mobs and NPCswhich are in the starting areas were spawned... Well you can check the net for it but i tried it when WoW first came out so it could be hard to find it now (I think they worked on private servers instead of that fake one) ...

In case you find it i dont recommend it cuz it has no fun... you can only create a char and watch him/her dancing to have fun...

what's that? you want solo play on MMORPG? Guild Wars is the perfect game - as i remember they said 70% of all quests/missions you can do by yourself without a partyPredatorRules

yup agree. there are henchmen NPCs who are helping you in group quests I guess (I havent played much but I guess that was it ^^ ) And you dont have to pay monthly fee as well :)

Well I've just quited WoW, I regret but I had to  Anyway all I can tell is its a great game even if you are lvl 70 cuz when you become lvl 70 you can make an alt char and have the great taste of killing hordes/alliances with your overpowered alt (twink :) )

Btw you don't have to spend all your time on it as well... when I got lvl 70 I was only logging in raid times so I was able to do everything I want during the day.
