Your response is juvenile and shallow...Have fun playing morrowind to beat it in fifteen minutes, I preferred the hours of wandering and stumbling across the massive world they created, and a game like that could use some co-op. However, I almost guarentee fable 2's world doesn't reach that scope or give you that same sense of surrounding. Secondly, what does your opinion of which system farcry 2 will be better on have to do with the my opinion that it will simply be more worth my time than fable 2, regardless of the system? I probably WILL be getting it for pc, just because my system is brand new and will be able to handle it, otherwise i'd normally stick with the console version to guarentee a solid performance.
I'm right with everyone when it comes down to farcry2,fallout, or Gears 2...Everyone of their predecessors were awesome games. However, Fable 2 doesn't have my blessing whatsoever. The game looks like the first one. When watching the gameplay footage alongside videos of the first one, you almost can't tell the difference. Now they're saying it's only going to be 10 hours long, but somehow much more open ended, and that the online co-op doesn't come with the game, let's not also forget about the half brained mini games you have to buy to build up money. If this was a game as BIG as say baldur's gate, or morrowind-those extra games would seem maybe helpful, but in a game that's only 10 hours long at the most, I think I'll be done with it before I even realize I need lots more money. With the way Farcry 2 is sounding, it seems like it will be a more open ended rpg experience than fable 2...In a nutshell, it seems like alot of people have fable 2 on top of their list of these other games that are almost guarenteed to be awesome, even if they're very similar to the games that preceded them, but that won't fly with me if Fable is like that...and so far it's more so than the others.
yeah dude, fable 2 looks like crap. It looks exactly like the first one. and the stuff that peter molyneuieusx introduce at e3 that he was nutting over were retarded. More lame interacting through emoticons and the same combat system. As long as games like fallout 3 come out, his ideas are going to be overshadowed by what players really want in an rpg.
The squad commands were hella basic, which seemed like the squad aspect was just kind of thrown in there. Framerate was terrible almost every time there was action. The graphics looked like an xbox game with super exaggerated bump mapping that you didn't really every notice until you got up close to things. But the controls were pretty natural feeling. The gameplay itself was REALLLY easy and boring really fast. God mass effect and Halo 3 need to hurry the hell up :P
